Warren Nunn - President and CEO Warren has spent his life in banking starting his career at Union Planters National Bank in Memphis before returning to Halls in 1972. He has served on boards and various committees of The University of Memphis, Dyersburg State Community College, Union University and the Baptist Hospital System. He was recently elected to the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Memphis where he will serve a three year term. He has overseen the tremendous growth of the organization during his time with the bank. Warren is also co-owner of Tennessee Tractor, which owns nine John Deere dealerships and employs 150 people in nine counties in West Tennessee. He is also President of Ardmore Telephone Company based in Ardmore, Alabama and serves on the Board of Directors of United Telephone Company in Chapel Hill, Tennessee. Warren is a graduate of the University of Memphis. He and his wife Eleanor live in Halls and have two sons and 6 grandchildren.
Donald Hogue - Secretary Donald is currently President of the Bank of Halls and the Bank of Crockett. He also serves on the boards of the Bank of Halls, Bank of Crockett, Gates Banking and Trust Company and Security Bank. Donald started with the Bank of Halls in 1962 and worked at the bank for 5 years before leaving to become a head bank examiner for the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions in 1968. He worked in that capacity for nine years before returning to the bank in 1977. Donald attended Union University. He and his wife Patty live in Halls and have two children and 6 grandchildren.
Nick Nunn - Chief Investment Officer Nick started his career in 1993 in the Fixed Income Division of Morgan Keegan in Memphis. He worked as an Institutional Fixed Income Broker before leaving to join Security Bancorp in 2005. He serves on the Board of Directors for the six banks and subsidiary banks associated with Security Bancorp. Nick manages the investment portfolio for all six banks in the organization. He is also Treasurer of United Telephone Company based in Chapel Hill, Tennessee. Nick is a graduate of Auburn University. He and his wife Kara live in Memphis and have 3 children.
Chris Nunn - Chief Financial Officer Chris joined the organization in 2002 after auditing financial institutions for KPMG in Memphis. Chris handles the financial analysis and reporting for the bank holding company and its subsidiary institutions. He serves on the Board of Directors of all the banks and subsidiary banks associated with Security Bancorp. He is also Treasurer of Ardmore Telephone Company based in Ardmore, Alabama. Chris is a graduate of Rhodes College. He and his wife Kim live in Memphis and have 3 children.
David Hayes - Chief Technology Officer David joined the company in 1991 after spending 25 years with Union Planters National Bank in Memphis. He is very active in all aspects of the community in Dyersburg and nationwide with the Independent Community Bankers Association. He served as Chairman of the ICBA for 2005- 2006. He has been a valuable resource in making Community Banks concerns heard nationwide. He is responsible for the operations and technology planning for the Holding Company in addition to serving as President of Security Bank. David also serves on the boards of Security Bank, Gates Banking and Trust Company, The Bank of Jackson and Patriot Bank. David attended the University of Memphis and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He and his wife Sara live in Dyersburg and have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
Bill Samisch - Senior Vice President Risk Management Bill joined Security Bancorp in 2007 after a 13 year career with The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, where he was a Directing Examiner. He is responsible for the organization's Risk Management and Compliance department. He handles all aspects of regulatory issues that need to be reported to different agencies such as the Federal Reserve or the different boards of the banks in the holding company. Bill is a graduate of the University of Missouri and lives in Collierville with his wife Mel and 2 children.
James Smith - Senior Vice President Regulatory Reporting James joined Security Bancorp in 2006. James assist primarily with regulatory and board reporting, loan monitoring and consumer compliance issues for the holding company and its subsidiary banks. He was the President of The Bank of Friendship from 1999 to 2002. He left to become President of Citizens City and County Bank in Trenton, Tennessee working there until leaving to join Security Bancorp. James is a Senior Vice President at the Bank of Halls and serves on the Board of Directors of the Bank of Halls and Gates Banking and Trust Company. James is a graduate of The University of Tennesee at Martin. He and his wife Cindy live in Friendship and have 1 daughter.
